The committee and coaching staff have been working hard to make sure our return to training on Tuesday 30 March 2021 will be as safe and smooth as possible.

Aa always, Saltwell will be adhering to UKA/Govt guidelines.  Groups will be a maximum of twelve to each coach.  All members need to have completed a health questionnaire before attending.  All members will need to book online.

Please note that if you want to join our Tuesday training sessions you are required to run a 5k comfortably in 35 mins, and be able to run solidly for between 50-60 mins.

The coaches are all too aware that many members may have lost their confidence with running and/or are worried about lack of fitness.

Therefore, Davey Candlish and Phil Askew have kindly offered to run a session on Saturday mornings – 10.30 am Saltwell Park. This will be temporary until parkrun returns. This session is for runners needing help/encouragement to return to fitness. Phil and Davey will continually assess all those who attend and encourage members to join the usual Tuesday training sessions as soon as possible. Booking will be via Bookwhen.

Until such time as we are able to offer face to face Thursday training sessions Paul Rea will post training sessions in our FB group for those wanting/needing the structure of a training programme.
