The Parkrun Spring Series starts Saturday 2nd April.
For those who don’t know this is a series of 6 Parkrun events at different locations across the region and is a competition for all Saltwell harriers based on points
Rules are that you have to wear your Saltwell Hoops.
This year’s races/locations:
2 April 16 – Gibside
9 April 16 – Chester le Street
23 April 16 – Newcastle
30 April 16 – Gateshead
7 May 16 – Blackhill
14 May 16 – Druridge Bay
To confirm you need to have done at least four to remain in the competition. Your five best placings will count. Scoring is 1 pt for 1st Saltwellian, 2 pts for 2nd Saltwellian etc. If you do not race you will be allocated 50 pts – the male/female with the lowest score is the champion.
Last years was great fun and would be fab to see a great turnout again!
